Health Board
The Health Board is an Institution of the Aga Khan Council for Pune, a voluntary institution that helps in the health care of children. They arrange free camps for dental, blood screening and general health checkups. They also helped us in getting children vaccinated for covid. The health board had arranged a session on Oral hygiene, Nutrition, and hygiene during menstruation. A session on mental health was taken by Psychologist Natasha Surani.
Education Board
The Education Board is also an Institution of the Aga Khan Council for Pune, a voluntary institution that helps in the educational needs of our children. For example, they arrange career counseling and personality development sessions for children. Recently Azim Jamal, an inspirational speaker came on campus to talk about his book “Spark: Journey from Success to Significance”. He motivated the girls to achieve their goals in life by staying focused and believing in themselves.
YOUTH & SPORTS Board
The Youth and Sports Board is another Institution of the Aga Khan Council for Pune, a voluntary institution that helps in arranging extra-curricular activities like theater workshops (to brush up their acting skills), Design for Change (Social and environment awareness programs). They had also started coaching our girls in badminton and table tennis.
Ismaili Tariqah & Religious Education Board (ITREB)
The Ismaili Tariqah and Religious Education Board, (ITREB) is an Institution which provides religious education to all the Ismaili Children at our Institute. Most children have classes on the weekend and once a month they also go to the Jamatkhana for prayers. Facilities are also provided on campus for daily prayers for all the children.
